FAQ

How much does this cost?

Thrively offers four assessments designed to help you understand and support your child's whole-child development:

  • Strengths Assessment: Helps unlock your child's unique strengths.
  • Smarts Assessment: Identifies how your child learns best (visual, auditory, or kinesthetic).
  • Habits of Mind: Measures 16 essential habits kids need to develop to be happy and successful in life.
  • Interest Profiler: Provides insight into your child's personality and what types of activities or careers they may thrive in.

Pricing:

  • Each assessment costs $24.99.
  • The Interest Profiler costs $14.99.

You don't need to take all four at once — you can space them out over time.

We recommend starting with the Strengths Assessment to gain the deepest insight into your child's core strengths.

Each assessment includes a personalized profile with actionable insights to help you support your child's growth at home and in school.

How does this program work, and what research was used to create it?

Thrively is an online program designed to uncover the unique genius in every child. It helps kids discover their strengths, understand how they learn, and build the habits and mindset they need to thrive in school and in life.

At the heart of Thrively is our Strengths Assessment, the first of its kind in education, developed by board-certified pediatric neuropsychologists Dr. Jonine Beisman and Dr. Jayme Kimmel, who bring decades of clinical experience working with children and adolescents.

In addition to the Strengths Assessment, Thrively includes several other research-based assessments:

  • Smarts Assessment – Based on Dr. Howard Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences, helping children understand how they learn best.
  • Habits of Mind – Rooted in the work of Dr. Arthur Costa and Dr. Bena Kallick, focusing on 16 key habits that drive lifelong success.
  • Interest Profiler – Grounded in Dr. John Holland's world-renowned theory of vocational personality types, offering insight into career and life alignment.

Each assessment takes about 30 minutes to complete, with an optional 15 minutes a week of follow-up activities to help children continue building on their strengths.

If you'd like to explore the research behind our assessments in more detail, you can learn more here.

Is this program a one-time purchase?

Yes. The assessment is a one-time purchase for each child—no subscription or renewal needed.
Through these assessments, kids discover what makes them thrive! They unlock their unique strengths, passions, and interests, building a strong foundation for self-awareness and a lifetime of purpose.
After completing an assessment, your child will also have access to 15 minutes a week of follow-up activities designed to help them continue building on their assets.

Do I need to pay for each assessment?

Yes. Each assessment is purchased separately.
Every assessment is based on decades of research and provides deep, personalized insights into your child. At the end, your child receives a positive profile that celebrates who they are — their strengths, learning style, habits, and personality.
If you'd like to purchase all the assessments at once, please contact our team at Thrively Support.

What age group is this best for?

Our assessments are thoughtfully designed with decades of clinical experience working with children and teens. They’re perfect for kids as young as 4 years old through high school.
Each assessment is developmentally appropriate, offering age-appropriate questions, insights, and recommendations that evolve with the child.

How long does it take to complete the assessments?

The Strength Assessment (and others) typically takes about 30–40 minutes. Your child can pause at any time and resume later without losing progress.
The assessments are designed to be easy, flexible, and engaging, so kids can complete them at their own pace while enjoying the process of discovering their strengths!

If I have more than one child, is there a separate cost for each?

Yes. Each child will need their own assessment.
Every child has unique strengths, interests, and learning styles, so each assessment is purchased individually to provide a personalized profile and insights tailored just for them.

How are the assessment results shared?

The results are available immediately online once your child completes the assessment.
You can view their personalized profile directly on the Thrively platform and also download or print a PDF version anytime for easy sharing or future reference.
