Dr. Angela Brooks

CEO of LIFT, Former school principal and state leadership coach

Dr. Angela Brooks has spent her lifetime believing in and seeing the magic of all children. Through her playful spirit and commitment to academic scholarship, Angela plays a significant role in transforming the way scholars learn in classrooms and school districts- where she models, teaches, leads, and coaches and facilitates professional learning for all adults who influence children. Through relentless dedication to research, building of knowledge, and infusing love and compassion in her teaching practices, she has modeled embracing ones full personhood as the educator, and honoring the whole personhood of the gifts (that she calls scholars) that sit in front of us each day. There is an art to teaching the whole child- the adults have to be whole. Her previous transformational experiences as a district Director of Talent, secondary Principal (6th-12th grades) and elementary teacher has aided in the systemic outcomes- high academic, social and emotional achievement for all students. Angela currently leads an education consulting firm that focuses on building and humanizing education systems that grow adults and scholars. She most recently received the promotion of MOM! And being a choice mom has shaped her global platform- LIFT | Love is the framework to Thrive. Dr. Brooks believes ultimately that deep unconditional love of ourselves will be the catalyst that allows us to see the gifts of our scholars, loving them unconditionally. Igniting love in ourselves, so that we can see the greatness in others- our colleagues and our scholars. Please join Angela on this global platform to pioneer a paradigm shift in the way adults interact with, educate, and love the next generation.
